The Fortaleza Quad Band cell phone watch casts in stainless steel, and is a quad-band phone that’s also weatherproof. It includes a headset mic and Bluetooth headset, FM radio, music and video player, a gig of onboard memory, a watch, a 640×480 resolution camera that shoots both digital stills and video, and a battery capable of offering three hours of talk time on a single charge.
And admittedly, this sucker is a bit on the bulky side, especially for wearing on the wrist. But still, this is an absolutely incredible piece of retro tech.
And indeed, for a cell phone designed to be worn on the wrist like a particularly chunky wristwatch, this offers an incredible array of features that perform pretty well under the circumstances. Granted, the video player is choppier than the ocean in a hurricane, but the FM radio sounds pretty nice, and so does the audio player.
